That’s interesting. Does that mean the airlock has been isolated, so most areas can get water but a small area (which is very near the CP reservoir) can’t?
We (upper Sydenham borders) now have a reasonable flow downstairs but only hot water (why? ) upstairs
Where does your hot water come from? Is the boiler feeding it to your hot taps upstairs even if the mains pressure isn’t reaching there yet?
ETA: Just seen the Tweet above from Thames Water! Thank you
Hi,
Just seen that a Water Station has been opened in Sydenham, SE26 6XT (Our block on Sydenham Road didn’t have water when I left for work this morning).
Does anyone know if it has come back on in this area as yet?
Thanks!
Yes, you’re probably right, Rachael.
I am amazed at how wide spread this issue is.
Thank you Thames Water guys for working really hard. It must have been hell for them for the past few days. Feel realy sorry and for the company, and for all who works there trying to deal with it all at once.
Is anyone else picturing the engineers working their way around the system with ENORMOUS radiator keys to bleed out those air locks?
I am now.
Still got absolutely no sign of water
anyone else still suffering?
Se23 Standlake Point - still no water. However, just passed Perry Rise - water flowing from under the road surface right in the middle of it (((.
Water supply is returning to customers in SE23 (and surrounding areas). It takes some time to come back completely, but all customers should have water back before 10pm.
This is fabulous news! thank you for sharing!
Is anyone still off? We had a little bit of water earlier but the hot has gone again now.
Standlake is still off, SE23
They tweeted several times today that blocks of flats might need action from the the building management to get the water moving again.
The water tank is not being filled. There is no water in the main water tank in our block. We had few times in the past when water supply stopped then it came back with no problems, no one had to do anything.
Still without water in SE23 3YW. Don’t know if Lewisham Homes need notifying or if it’s still a Thames Water issue.
