Detectives in Lewisham are appealing for information and witnesses after burglars attacked a sleeping pensioner in his bed, ransacked his home and left him for dead.
The victim, a 70-year-old man, was asleep at his home address in Garlies Road, Lewisham when the attack began at 23:00hrs on Friday 22 September.
