I had my bike stolen out of our back garden last night in Forest Hill (Farren Road); they went through the Kryptonite lock like a knife through butter and left like ninjas in the night…they didnt even set our dog off!
They must have come through the back alley and hopped over the fence as the garden gate was still locked.
If anyone comes across a blue and silver Trek Road bike for sale please let me know!
Ugh. Sorry. Usual rules apply: check Gumtree and Facebook marketplace. Did you have it registered with the police? Always photograph your frame number (under your crank) and make sure you have your Strava privacy setting enabled. Do you have a picture of the bike?
angle grinders do that. what sort of Krypto lock was it - just out of interest - they come in different strengths. (Sorry for your loss by the way)

Sorry to hear this. I have seen a few posters in the area oosting similar on the nextdoor app recently, one of them found his bike on gumtree the next day but the police still were interested in acting on it (frustratingly). Sorry again!
