Stockpiling? Food left in Mayow park

Just saw this food has been left in Mayow Park. Not sure why, or why on a bin/dog waste bin.

Everything is still sealed, the bread is a few days out of date but the rest should be fine, including a pack of dried pasta.

What a waste!

I wonder if this was a small shop trying to dispose of out-of-date goods in a way that allowed people to take them?

For sure I think it was well-intended, maybe in the hope that a homeless person who might normally be rummaging down the bin could benefit from it?

I hope so, but maybe leaving on a bench with note rather than a dog waste bin would have been better!

No, EEUUGHHH!!!
Yeh, maybe my imaginary homeless guy wouldn’t have been rummaging down that particular bin after all.
I think your suggestion of the park bench is much better!
