Someone posted this lovely post on SE23 Mums FB page:

Hello lovely ladies & gents.
Bit of a plug for a new local forum www.SE23.life it’s user friendly, works well on phones and tablets and seems to have some of the most well connected people in the area involved.
A great place for local news, gossip, etc without having to use Facebook.
(I only found out about it today and thought others might be interested)…

Someone replyed with this:

I can’t seem to log on via Facebook on my iPhone - it’s telling me to close the page but when I do I’m logged out again.

I’ve replied saying I’ll check with the ones up on IT & get back to them. So @anon5422159 @anon64893700 & @thirstforwine can one of you reply to this question so I can copy & paste it and reply on SE23 Mums :+1:

Thanks @Pauline and @anon64893700. I’m with @Liz_Hall’s family today for our niece’s bday, so haven’t had the opportunity to get on this site much today.

I’ve been waiting to be approved for SE23 Mums for months - for some reason I’m not being approved (despite my wife being a member), so I cannot comment, sadly

It took a while for me to be approved as well so probably nothing personal Rob, I think it’s just a local mum that set it up so understandably may take a while to be approved.

It’s got massive traffic & a great local FB group so well worth one of you guys joining as #SE23Life @anon5422159 @anon64893700 or @thirstforwine to reply to any IT queries :+1: In the meantime I can carry on copy & pasting instructions :heart_eyes:

Yes, but I did wait for months, so a bit much by all measures. I have requested it again recently as my wife trades a lot of stuff there and I would like to be able to see what is happening, but still waiting :frowning:

oh, don’t worry. Just not sure about the admin system.

As someone who manages several FB forums I know it is hard, but just saying that I cannot participate or get involved unless I am approved. No stress :slight_smile:

Yes @Pauline that was my plug!
The person who had an issue was trying to use her fb account to create a se23.life account, likely a phone fb app to browser issue. I suggested a few solutions, she’s not replied since.

It’s a great group, thousands of members since it was set up ~ 3 1/2 years ago and quite rightly the admins are overwhelmed! (It’s nothing personal @thirstforwine)

@anon5422159 I would be very interested if you have any google analytics traffic data for what if any impact the post had on people signing up?!?
