We have had this beautiful black cat visiting us daily in our garden on Ebsworth Street (and staying for many hours) since late March - beginning of April and wonder if he belongs to anyone?
He is a large friendly male, with long back claws and some grey hairs throughout his coat.
We are concerned whether he has been lost and are considering taking him to the vet to check if he is microchipped but thought to try on here first.
Any info, please let me know!

Nope, just a very croaky one. He has no collar and is very reluctant to leave. We are worried he is lost!

Ah, glad you solved the mystery. Shame to hear he’s getting a bit croaky in his old age. He used to be so chatty when he saw me walking up the street. Really lovely, gentle cat.
