[Home] Missing ginger cat

MIA - Kevin.

I’ve just moved from Nunhead (St Asaph Road) to Honor Oak (Ewart Road Estate) and on his first day outside this little dude hasn’t come home.

It’s very unusual for him to stay out all night. Trying not to panic as hoping he’s just exploring his new gaff but please keep your eyes peeled and let me know if you spot a ginger cat you don’t recognise!

He’s chipped, neutered and wearing a black collar with green clovers on with a tag with his name and my phone number.

Hello! From one ginger cat owner to another, I hope you find him.

Someone has just posted a thread here of missing cat groups in the local area, as well as some tips that get circulated regularly (leaving litter tray outside etc). Fingers crossed for you.

(Admins, I know you don’t like to link out to FB too much, but hopefully ok as this is a worthy cause…).

Maybe he’s walking back to Nunhead? Might be worth walking the route … several times.

It’s a very worthy cause indeed. Kitty come home !

Thank you all. Still no sign. I’ve been back to the old place and leafleted the neighbours so if he does rock up there hopefully they’ll get in touch!

Not sure if you’ve already tried this but it may be worth leaving out his bedding / anything that has his scent on. I know it’s difficult with the weather but it’s probably worth a shot. It’s also worth visiting Lost and Found | Petlog and logging that he’s missing, they’re the UK’s biggest lost and found pet database. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

HE’S HOME!!!
Went out to call and shake biscuits and he came meowing and trotting around the corner!

I bet with a face like butter wouldn’t melt! So lovely to hear. We’ve had cast loss scares over the years.

Yay! Marvellous news.
