Battersea’s one-stop shop in Sydenham offers free pet services to owners

The event is held in partnership with Sainsbury’s, Lewisham Borough Council, the Metropolitan Police, and Cats Protection.

Battersea staff will also be on hand offering free microchipping, just over a year after microchipping dogs became mandatory for dog owners in the UK.

Owners can also get free engraved tags for their pets and vouchers for cat neutering.

Battersea’s Community Engagement van, which was funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, will be at Sainsbury’s in Southend Lane, Bell Green, from 11am-14pm.
