Anyone else hear the dog howling / barking in the middle of the night for the last few weeks at the flats on Boveney Road? Poor thing sounds like it is begging to be let in, and often is barking very late (post 2am). It also sets off a cacophony of other barks, at times. In terms of reporting the noise, I assume the council won’t do anything and I’m not sure this is a RSPCA issue. Does anyone have any other ideas? I don’t think knocking on the owners’ door will achieve anything, especially given that the dog doesn’t sound like a nice neighbourhood pooch …
Does this not fall under RSPCA if you feel like the animal sounds distressed? I’m not sure what the criteria is.
We don’t know which flat it is - so unsure how the RSPCA can do anything without an address - was hoping a local neighbour might have more specific details which we could then share with the RSPCA

I’d definitely report to the RSPCA as it’s strange for a dog to be barking at that time of night, other than because it’s upset or in need of something. I’m sure they will investigate too

Yes, I am sure they would want to know about this. No harm in caring them.
