We’re looking to get a new front door - either wood or composite - and hoping to do so in a way that won’t break the bank (door + fitting sub £500??). Does anybody have any recommendations please?

Theres a shop on Penge high st opposite the old police station that does decent looking wood doors.
I’m not sure if less than £500 is likely, but we used Crystal Doors and Windows (https://www.crystalwindows.co.uk/products/doors/) and had a great experience installing a composite door with a 5 point locking system. They can be a bit 'sales’y but the quality of the product and their team is really great.

They’re in the centre of the roundabout there and used to sell reclaimed doors if that’s what you are looking for.
If you do find a new wooden front door including fitting for under £500, please do let me know so I can shoot myself in the head for what we paid.
I took a course on hanging doors. What I learnt is I will never hang a door.
We did it once for our kitchen door. Never again.
Yeah, I’m realising the same thing… You can get the door for £100, but with everything else it’s a grand+ and can’t be done until January. Who knew.
