Whilst watching more TV than I planned to I have finally got round to finishing the outline stitching on a couple of projects. Well birdies still in progress, they are fiddly. For the top one I bought the kit in 2012 so about time that was finished…
Cross stitch excellent for keeping hands busy to avoid excessive snacking of an evening

I have weeded lots of personal files, tidied up my bookshelves, got enduring powers of attorney for me and my wife completed, signed and witnessed (horribly fiddly job), bought a new TV (flat screen!) and wrote a couple of chapters of an unpublishable book.
