Water outage

No water in St Germans Road. Thankfully the heating is working tho! I’m working from home as there’s no heating in the office… :grimacing:

The Brockley Rise Centre will be closed today (Thursday 1 March) due to the burst water main affecting the area.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Our neighbours over in SE22 are reporting that there is a big water leak at the top of Lordship Lane - the one that perennially causes issues on the SE22/SE23 borders.

Just phoned Thames Water. They can’t provide an ETA and as they don’t have any updates on where they are with the investigation, they haven’t updated their website for the “se23/se4 Repairing a Leak” since 9.50 this morning. https://inyourarea.thameswater.co.uk/issue?id=R18

Is the fact it hasn’t been repaired linked to this?

Does anyone have any more intel? We’re on Park Rise Rd (near the Honor Oak pub); got a text from thames water two hours ago stating the leak was fixed… but we’ve still got no water(!)

We’ve been without water since 06h30 this morning, we’re just off Brockley Rise and there is still nothing coming through. Luckily, heating working. Thames water informed me it was ‘complicated’ but no further details.

I didn’t see much evidence of any issues on Lordship Lame tonight although it may be off the main road.
A large police presence on the SCirc Grove pub corner tonight though - looks like a bad accident.

I wonder if it will come back on area by area or whether they’ll keep the whole lot off until they’ve fixed all four/five leaks? FYI Brockley Supermarket say they will be getting more big waters in at 6pm.

Just suddenly gone off for me on Stondon Park, Hope it’s only temporary!

Us and ground and grapes out too

Our supply is out. Hopefully this is the result of the cut off to resolve the leak on our road. Wishing you all a safe night. The Smiths! Brockley Rise.

We are watching them dig UK the road. We went to ask the guys and they can’t find the leak. As soon as they do it should be a case of clamping it and back up and running. Thames water said they turned it off at 2am so it’s been a really long time. Fingers crossed it’s on before tomorrow morning.

Anyone else in Grierson Road affected? I heard about Blyth Hill area this morning, but water just went off here too.
