Yes let’s hope not with all the electric cars that will need it in years to come. We’ll be queuing in the grid just to make a cup of tea.

Yeah it hit me too on Devonshire Road. My 5G router seems unable to reconnect now, so either the surge broke it or the masts are hit as well

Actually that’s just my device. I regret ever going for the 5G option now.
I had a flicker just before 10pm where everything went off for around 10 seconds and then came back on.
UK Power Networks are reporting that Forest Hill, Honor Oak, Crofton Park, parts of Catford which border Forest Hill including Perry Hill, a tiny part of Upper Sydenham and Brockley are affected and power should be on after 11.30pm for those who have no power.
