Hiring a cleaner directly - due diligence required?

Indeed. My point is that the privilege of Freedom of Movement is approved by our Government for Capital, but not for people.

Think we might be wandering slightly off-topic here. @DevonishForester, @Wynell, please  this post if you’re happy for me to split off into #general-politics from this post onward.

Closed from my point of view.

I know agencies can be a pain sometimes as you end up paying some kind of quarterly or monthly fee and then have to pay the cleaner on top of that but agencies or brokers such as Selclene Southeast can assure that you have a fully vetted, professional insured cleaner and very few people are good a cleaning and the agency can ensure that the cleaner is fully trained and knows what they are doing as they do all the work beforehand before hiring them. Plus an agency can protect the client and the cleaners rights so that they are not exploited or abused in anyway.
