There’s a campaign to resurrect the long-gone lido in Peckham Rye Park. On a scorching day like today, the idea of a dip on our doorstep is very appealing!
As a kid, my sister and I used to spend hours in that Lido, long hot summers, swimming with the Spartans swimming club…happy days…I don’t look like I’m enjoying myself in the photo though!
